Hyde Hall hosted its first wedding in 1834, and since then many couples have found its spectacular views and magnificent historical ambiance to be the perfect setting for their special day. In 2007, we celebrated the 100th Anniversary of Anne Hyde Clarke to Arthur Choate, in 1907 – the most lavish wedding ever held by the Clarke Family, a grand family from England who built and owned Hyde Hall for 150 years. It was this same Mrs. Choate, a major figure in the fascinating history of Girl Scouting in America, who became the first driving force behind Hyde Hall’s restoration. Many fantastic parties have been held here throughout the years, and we know that you will be thrilled at the ambiance and possibilities for your special event.
